About Jay
He started travelling at 16 and never really stopped.
Jay Patwal started travelling at 16 — not as a tourist, but as a curious soul with a camera and an appetite. Now 29, he’s covered 46+ countries and eaten at hole-in-the-wall kitchens most people walk right past.
Living Manchester, but rarely home long enough to unpack. No fluff, no sponsorship bias — just real knowledge from someone who’s actually been there.
Adventure is best served with a side of something delicious.

Places That Changed Him
Behind every painted wall is a story. Explored best with a local guide, where music, murals, and community turn every corner into a memory so vivid.
Neon, ramen at midnight, streets that never sleep. Tokyo beckons again and again...
Everyone goes. Few go the right way. Jay found a terrace no guidebook mentions, watching the sunset alone.
Most visitors see Bangkok. Jay experienced it differently—private long-tail boats, hidden rooftop views, and moments the guidebooks never mention. Been there 4 times and still looking for excuses to go back!
Beyond the tourist trail, past the rice paddies, there's a Bali that moves at its own tempo. Jay stayed two weeks — and nearly didn't leave.
